Mmemme” is an Igbo word which loosely means “it’s happening”. It is used for Igbo parties and ceremonies with the predominant characteristic being that there would be a lot of food and drinks to go round for everyone.
Mmemme is inspired by our cultured centered clients of the Igbo tribe of Nigeria. It is a notion that Igbos love to live life as well as work hard. Ellesu has selected a couple of dishes to represent the diverse nation of this tribe. This dish is more of a balanced homemade meal in a platter of variation, which is hearty and tasty.
